PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer of a conjugated diene, wherein this polymer has a controllable level of cis-, trans- and 1,2-vinyl without necessity of a postreactor blend. SOLUTION: A process and a catalyst for producing homopolymers or copolymers of the conjugated dienes by polymerizing the monomer with a catalyst system comprising (A) a first transition metal compound selected from Cr, Mo and W compounds, and a second transition metal compound selected from Fe, Co and Ni compounds, (B) a catalyst modifier (eg triphenyl phosphine) and optionally (C) one or more catalyst activators (e.g., MAO). The cis-, trans- and 1,2-vinyl microstructure of the produced diene polymer can be controlled. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
