PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat medium conveying system capable of suppressing initial costs, and capable of accurately grasping an air-conditioning load of a heat utitilizing side. SOLUTION: The heat medium conveying system 10 is provided with a plurality of heat source units (heat source units 22, 26, 30) respectively supplying a heat medium, a plurality of pumps 24, 28, 36 provided in correspondence to each heat source unit and sending the supplied heat medium to an indoor unit group (indoor units 12, 14, 16), a conduit 40 having a throttle mechanism (a motor operated valve 38) and a conduit 34 having an orifice 32 connected in parallel with each other in an outlet side in regard to at least one of the pumps 24, 28, 36, air-conditioning load detecting means (change-over buttons 44, 46, 48) for detecting the air-conditioning load of a room provided with the indoor unit group, and a controller 42 judging the number of operating units on the basis of the air-conditioning load detected by the air-conditioning load detecting means to control the heat source units and the pumps.
