PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recognize change in image clearly even if a surface has micro unevenness when detecting a heat seal position of a plastic film 1 by performing image recognition of reflected light or transmitted light of the plastic film 1 using an optical sensor 4 so as to read the surface with the micro unevenness of a heat seal part 2 by the change in image. SOLUTION: A shielding plate 3 and the plastic film 1 are irradiated with a light source 4. The shielding plate 3 has an edge 5 of a specified length. Therefore, a shadow boundary 7 is formed by the edge 5.
