PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer capable of performing recording with high quality. SOLUTION: A re-transmitting means 15 is formed for re-transmitting a driving force transmitted to a platen roller 3 from a driving motor 11 to each of a pair of conveying rollers 4 and 5. The driving force is transmitted by a driving force transmitting gear 7 fitted to the platen roller 3, driven gears 8 and 9 fitted to a pair of the conveying rollers 4 and 5, respectively, and intermediate gears 13 and 14 always intermeshing with the driving force transmitting gear 7 and the driven gears 8 and 9. In addition, gear supporting shafts 16 and 22 for supporting freely rotatably the intermediate gears 13 and 14 are constituted so as to adjust positions. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
