TEXTURE MAP OF COATED COLOR, ITS MAKING METHOD, MAKING PROGRAM, MAKING SYSTEM AND DATA STRUCTURE

A texture map of coated color where a plurality of coated colors are arranged to be able to identify their textures. Its making method, making program, making system and data structure are also provided. In the method for making the texture map of a plurality of coated colors arranged on a two-dimensional plane using two parameters representing the color and the texture of coated color as the coordinate axes, at least three feature quantities are obtained from spectral reflectivity at a plurality of light receiving angles measured for each of the plurality of coated colors (S1-S3), first principal component and second principal component represented by the linear expression of feature quantity are obtained by analyzing the principal component of a data group including at least three feature quantities (S4), values of the first principal component and second principal component of the plurality of coated colors are obtained and the coated colors are arranged at positions on the two-dimensional plane using the values of the first principal component and second principal component as coordinates by using the first principal component and second principal component as the two parameters (S5).
