GINSENG PREPARATIONS CONTAINING A HIGH CONCENTRATION OF GINSENG SAPOGENIN USING A BACILLUS NATTO AND METHOD THEREOF

A method for preparing a ginseng preparation is provided to obtain the ginseng preparation comprising highly concentrated protopanaxatriol and protopanaxadiol economically. A method for preparing a ginseng preparation comprises the steps of: (a) mixing ginseng or a ginseng extract with boiled soybean; (b) after inoculating 1-5% of a pre-cultured Bacillus natto seed culture into the mixture, fermenting it at a temperature of 42-48 deg.C for 24-96 hours; and (c) freeze-drying a fermented product obtained from the step(b). A ginseng preparation prepared by the method comprises 0.1-10.5 wt.% of protopanaxadiol and 0.01-1.2 wt.% of protopanaxatriol regarding the lyophilized weight of the preparation.
