An electronic device and transmitter allowing animal owners to locate the ir animals by a non¬ verbal audible output signal and a visual output signal . A method for training animals to elicit a desired behavior based upon stim uli emitted from an electronic device. The electronic device and method enab le animal owners to quickly find their animals that might not otherwise resp ond to verbal commands.
