PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a health food effective for patients of senile dementia without side effects.

SOLUTION: The health food for ameliorating senile dementia comprises as effective ingredients a mycelium extract of Hericium erinaceum and a ginkgo leaf extract. The health food is jelly-like. Both Hericium erinaceum and the ginkgo leaf are incorporated with a food to be used, have no side effects and are safe. Effects of Hericium erinaceum on senile dementia are enhanced a great deal by effects of the ginkgo leaf extract to exhibit ameliorating effects on senile dementia.
