<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming system capable of informing a user or an operator that there is a possibility to generate unexpected illegal action or others when being energized again after the energization of the image forming device is blocked. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming system, the image forming device 200 has an operating section 205 for informing the outside of various kinds of conditions. A peripheral device 210 has an energization block off detecting means (a CPU 212) detecting that the energization of the image forming device 200 is blocked and an informing means (a CPU 212 and a communication interface 211) informing the detected result by the energization block off detecting means to the image forming device 200.
