<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable wastes in a continuous printing sheet to be reduced when a printing stoppage of the continuous printing sheet is performed, and to enable a reduction in the working efficiency to be prevented from occurring in a post-treatment process. <P>SOLUTION: A host apparatus 200 is connected with a printer 20 from the outside, and image data which are expressed by the PDL format is inputted. Also, indications for an image forming process, the stoppage and the stoppage release or the like for the image forming process can be performed to the printer 20 by an operation panel 218. Then, in a control section 230, when the image data of the PDL format is inputted, a CPU 210 performs the process of developing to image data on a RAM 206 by using a control program being stored in a ROM 204 and referring to the management information of the image data being stored in an NVRAM 208, and the result is spooled in a HDD 214.
