<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet conveying apparatus securing conveying stability for a sheet without enlarging the apparatus and achieving improvement in productivity regardless of sheet size. <P>SOLUTION: The sheet conveying apparatus includes; main conveying means 236 and 300 for conveying the sheet conveyed on a main conveying path 238 to a downstream side; a first inverting position 400 and a second inverting position 401 where the sheet is stopped at a rear end reference position in a conveying direction in order to carry out an inverting process for the sheet which has been conveyed by the main conveying means 236 and 300 on the main conveying path 238; an inverting conveying means 245 for inverting and conveying the sheet stopped at the first inverting position 400 and the second inverting position 401 in an opposite direction; and a judging means 101 for judging whether to stop the sheet at the first inverting position 400 or the second inverting position 401. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
