PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indicator for measuring instrument device excelling in visibility of an occupant in a movable body, while being simple in structure. SOLUTION: This indicator 12 for measuring instrument device 1 is equipped with an indicator body 21, etc. The indicator body 21 is equipped with a base end part 13 serving as a rotation center while an output shaft 8 rotates and an indication part 14 extending from the end part 13 in the outer circumferential direction of the end part 13. The end part 13 is equipped with a light receiving part 33 receiving light while reflecting the light toward the indication part 14. The indicator body 21 is further equipped with a colored layer 40 provided over the whole length of the indication part 14 on a middle part on a surface confronting a dial plate 6 of the indication part 14, and a reflective layer 16 covering the whole of an outer surface of the indication part 14 with a surface confronting the occupant excluded therefrom. The colored layer 40 and the reflective layer 16 reflect light from a reflective surface 34. The colored layer 40 that shines vividly and the reflective layer 16 that shines faintly are visually recognized by the occupant of the movable body. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
