PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dynamic damper capable of restraining the vibration of a rotary body even in a wide rotating speed area, in the dynamic damper for changing a natural frequency of the damper in accordance with the rotation of the rotary body. SOLUTION: Since a rigid body 16 is slidably held in the radial direction, the rigid body 16 is moved in the radial direction by a centrifugal force by a drive shaft 10. Thus, a spring constant K of the dynamic damper 12 is changed by moving the center of gravity of the rigid body 16 in the radial direction in accordance with a rotating speed of the drive shaft 10. The natural frequency (f) of the dynamic damper 12 is changed by a change in the spring constant K. The vibration can be effectively restrained even in the drive shaft 10 having a wide rotating speed range by suitably changing the natural frequency (f) of the dynamic damper 12 in accordance with the rotating speed of the drive shaft 10.
