COATING METHOD FOR ELECTRIC INSULATION SHEET, AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF ELECTRIC INSULATION SHEET ROLL WITH THIN FILM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a coated electric insulation sheet by applying static charges to the surface of a sheet before applying a coating liquid, in a method of coating the surface of the electric insulation sheet. SOLUTION: The method of coating the surface of the electric insulation sheet S moving between a coating roll and a pressure roll B2 urged to the coating roll in a specified moving direction includes the steps of neutralizing the individual surfaces of the electric insulation sheet before coating and then charging the individual surfaces of the electric insulation sheet with the direct-current-type charges of reverse polarity to coat the surfaces of the electric insulation sheet with a coating liquid W in the condition of inhibiting unevenness in coating as much as possible, and further the method can avoid discharge at the time of separation of the electric insulation sheet with a thin film from the roll after coating with the coating liquid and simultaneously enhances handling characteristics of the electric insulation sheet with a thin film.
