PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine which can reduce burdens put on an arm and a shoulder by repeating a start operation and a stop operation. SOLUTION: The game machine includes: a start button 6 operable for commanding the start of the variation of patterns displayed by a plurality of reels; and a plurality of stop buttons 7L, 7C and 7R provided corresponding to the respective reels and operable for commanding the stop of the variation of the patterns by the corresponding reels. The casing of the game machine has a pedestal part 4 where the start button 6 and the plurality of stop buttons 7L, 7C and 7R are provided, and the start button 6 and the plurality of stop buttons 7L, 7C and 7R are all provided within the range where the buttons are within the palm of a player, of the pedestal part 4.
