PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire accurate geographical data such as altitude and azimuth of the current position of a user. SOLUTION: In measuring the altitude, a first altitude measured by a pressure sensor 15 is corrected by a second altitude measured by a GPS processor 3, based on received fixing information, thereby obtaining a final altitude data. The angle difference between the magnetic north azimuth measured by a magnetic sensor 14 and that measured by the GPS processor 3, based on received fixing information is previously stored as a correction angle data in a RAM 7, and in measuring the azimuth the magnetic north azimuth measured by the sensor 14 is corrected according to the correction angle data to obtain a final azimuth data. |
