<p>The sensor has electrodes (140, 150) separated by a porous protective layer and a common protective layer (156), and an electronic circuit (190) for production of voltage (Upump) that lies between the electrodes. The electronic circuit measures and evaluates adjusted pump current to balance a composition of fuel-air-mixture.
