[Class 75 (iv)] In a lighting fitting comprising a reflector adapted to house a plurality of tubular lamps, baffles 12, formed by two back-to-back reflectors 22, 23 are supported from the fitting to extend between the lamps for the full length thereof. The support may comprise brackets 13 extending between the back-to-back reflectors with interposed asbestos cushioning members 30, 31 and each bracket may be provided with a screw 28 and a nut 29, or with pressed out lugs or pushed out protuberances 35, Fig. 6, so that concave portions 25, 26 of the reflectors may be slid over the screws or protuberances to hold the baffle in position. The baffle 12 so extends below the lamps 18, 19 that these will only come simultaneously into direct view to an approaching observer. The reflecting surface is of vitreous enamel. |
