The system (10) has evaporators (14, 16, 18) for receiving a fluid e.g. water, to be evaporated. Adsorbers (24, 26) include an adsorption medium (28) for adsorption of fluid that is evaporated in the evaporators. A control system (22) is arranged to make or disconnect a fluid connection between the evaporators and the adsorbers. The adsorbers are integrated in a cooling circuit process or an energy supply system to provide energy necessary for regeneration of the adsorbers. A fluid removal device is connected with a cooler that is in fluid connection with a fluid inlet of the evaporators. An independent claim is also included for a method for cooling an airplane device.
