<p>The radio frequency (RF) resonator system has a RF resonator containing high-temperature superconducting (HTS) material made conductors (2a,2b) having regions of capacitive and inductive elements formed on respective substrates (1a,1b). A dielectric layer (3d), having a local thickness set based on a resonance frequency of the RF resonator, on a dielectric constant of the substrate, and on the dielectric constant of the dielectric layer material, and applied to the conductors covers the capacitive element region. The dielectric layer is deposited on the conductors by evaporation, plasma deposition, sputtering, or gas/liquid phase deposition process. An independent claim is included for RF resonator system tuning method.</p> |
