A vehicle navigation system is provided to enable a user to receive accurate visual information by selecting some of moving cameras with GPS(Global Positioning System) functions. A GPS receiver(41) receives signals from a GPS satellite. A display unit(43) displays a current position and images. A key input unit(44) inputs various control keys. A first moving camera(50) is moved from a first to a second intersection. A second moving camera(51) is moved from a second to a third intersection. A third camera(52) is moved from third to fourth intersections. An image input unit(47) receives images from the cameras through a high speed wireless internet network. An image server(48) selectively outputs real-time moving pictures according to GPS coordinates of an area to be inspected. A first data transceiver(49) communicates with the image server. A second data transceiver(46) communicates with the first data transceiver. A main controller(42) calculates the current position based on signals from the GPS receiver, outputs the current position and real-time moving pictures to the display unit, and controls the display unit according to the control keys from the key input unit. The main controller outputs the selected GPS coordinates through the second data transceiver. |
