The mechanism to restrict the opening width, of a swing and/or tilting window, has an opening limit stop (32) which acts across the working direction of the movement block and is locked at the window (3). The movement block of the opening limit stop is released through the movement of the limit piece (11) under a defined force, and the opening limit stop has a free movement from its limit position as the limit action is released and the window is no longer locked in place. |
