The structure (1) has a roof sheet (2) and a side part (3) which are arranged with respective connection sides (6) in a connection area (V) in a connection position and are connected with each other by a roof longitudinal seam (4). A lower structure (5) supports the roof sheet and the side part. The roof sheet and the side part end with the connection sides over an area of the seam in the connection area. The connection sides are deformed to a connection retainer (7), where the roof sheet and the side part are connected with each other by the longitudinal seam in the retainer. An independent claim is also included for a method for binding a side wall and a roof sheet by a roof longitudinal seam with a composite structure.
