The top (3) has a front-roof segment (5), a tail-roof segment (7) and an intermediate-roof segment (9) arranged in a closing position of the top between the front-roof and tail-roof segments. The segments are connected with a vehicle body (12) by a folding top support (15). The segments are movable in a lowered position in a tail-sided loading space (22) during transfer from the closing position into an open position of the top, such that the tail-roof segment forms a lower boundary of a folding top storage area in the space and the segments (5, 9) are arranged above the tail-roof segment.
