PORTABLE TERMINAL WITH HARD DISK

A mobile terminal having a hard disk is provided to secure a sufficient space between a hard disk and structures of a terminal to thus prevent an external impact from being directly applied to the hard disk. An opening(225) is formed at a housing of a mobile terminal. A motor(223) protruded from a body of a hard disk(202) is received in the opening. The terminal includes a battery mounting recess(217) formed on an outer circumferential surface thereof, and the opening is formed to penetrate the battery mounting recess and the interior of the housing of the terminal. A shielding member is installed within the housing of the mobile terminal, and at least one side of the hard disk faces the shielding member with a gap of at least 0.5mm maintained therebetween. The both sides of the hard disk are maintained to have a gap of 0.5mm from the inner circumferential surface of the housing of the terminal.
