<p>An air supply system has an air supply hose (12) with spaced apart tubular outlets (14) along the entire length. A narrow housing, which mounts a flat slide gate valve, is installed laterally with respect to each tubular outlet. The valve is slid relative to the housing to enlarge or reduce the open cross-sectional area of each outlet. Part of the slide gate valve is conformed to the internal contour of the outlet.</p>
