The lawn-mower (1) has a chassis type support structure (5), and a case (3) for housing a blade (13). A prong or flap type unit (2) cuts grass (15) located outside a cutting surface of the blade, where the unit is connected to a lateral wall (8A) of the case. The unit is rotatably mounted on the wall between an active position, in which the unit projects with respect to the wall, and an inactive position in which the unit is located along the wall.
