<p>The exchanger has a set of flat tubes (101) for providing a flow path for a fluid. A fin is supported between the tubes, and is positioned along a flow path for another fluid e.g. air. The fin and the tubes partially define a core. Tanics are positioned adjacent to opposite ends of the tubes. An elastically deformable side part (120) extends across a heat exchanger core, and has a pair of integrally formed caps for closing openings in tanks (104), where the caps contact the core. The side part has a rigid central part arranged between the caps, and contacts an outermost tube of the core. An independent claim is also included for a method of assembling a heat exchanger.</p> |
