The device (1) has a clamp connector (10) with a clamping spring (12) for connecting conductors (14). The connector is fixed in a position in a clamp connector chamber (18). The chamber is laterally defined by broad sides of a housing and open towards a frontal front side. An opening (20) of the chamber is covered by a clamp covering part (22) that is pivotably mounted on the housing. The part has a connecting area (24) with a number of connection openings (26) which correspond to the number of conductors. A hollow body (28) for the conductors is formed on each connection opening.
