The device has a collet chuck (7a) provided relative to a mounting hole (5) in a clamping nut (10a) that has an internal thread, which stays in engagement with an external thread of a base plate. An inclination angle of production of a conically tapering section (9) of the mounting hole relative to a rotational axis is larger for placing the chuck according to ISO 15488. The chuck has a cylindrical section i.e. pin (30) with respect to a front end of the base plate behind the conical section that forms a joint fit together with a cylindrical section (31) of the hole.
