A dielectric powder for a display device is provided to realize eco-friendly characteristics and a low dielectric constant, and to form a thin dielectric layer having a high light transmission in a display device. A dielectric powder for a display device comprises: 0.1-30 wt% of SiO2; 15-55 wt% of B2O3; 0.1-25 wt% of BaO; 0.1-15 wt% of Al2O3; 0.1-10 wt% of P2O5; and 3-50 wt% of ZnO. The dielectric powder optionally further comprises a compound selected from the group consisting of: a first oxide selected from TiO2 CuO, CeO2 and a combination thereof; a second oxide selected from CaO, CoO, MgO and a combination thereof; a third oxide selected from Li2O, Na2O and K2O and a combination thereof; and a combination thereof.
