A plasma display panel is provided to decrease the reflective brightness by using a first electrode layer and a second electrode layer which are colored by complementary colors. A front substrate(15) and a rear substrate are opposite to each other at a desired interval. Address electrodes are extended in a first direction on the rear substrate, and display electrodes(16) are formed on the front substrate in a second direction crossing the first direction. Barrier ribs(13) are interposed between the front and rear substrates to define plural discharge cells therebetween. A phosphor layer(14) is formed in each discharge cell. The display electrode includes a bus electrode composed of a first electrode layer(16ca) colored by a first color and a second electrode layer(16cd) colored by a second color which is subtractively mixed with the first color.
