PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly practicable polyethylene terephthalate resin film roll which makes film passability in a post-working heat treatment step proper throughout a roll length, irrespective of post-working conditions. SOLUTION: The polyethylene terephthalate resin film roll is regulated so that values of HS150 at right and left edge sides can each fall within a given range and the difference between values of HS150 at right and left edge sides can fall within a given range, for a total of ten sample cutout portions; provided that the ten portions are sampled from the film, at every one-ninth of the film winding length from the film winding end and as a final portion at a position within 2m from the film winding head. Further, regulation is effected so that variations in longitudinal direction of the values of HS150 at right and left edge sides respectively fall within a given range.
