A plasma display panel is provided to improve the ability to display a low gray level by forming one pixel using three subpixel discharge cells and one blank cell having no phosphor. A first substrate(20) and a second substrate(10) are opposite to each other, and electrodes are formed on the first substrate or the second substrate. Barrier ribs(30) are interposed between the first substrate and the second substrate to define plural unit cells(40) therebetween. The cell includes three subpixel discharge cells arranged in a triangular shape, in which phosphors of different colors are applied, and a blank cell having no phosphor. The three subpixel discharge cells and the blank cell are formed as a unit pixel.
