A system for preventing reduction in data retention is provided to prevent data retention time from being reduced by temperatures in back end processing. According to a system for preventing reduction in data retention, a tester(22) tests a resistive memory and obtains constitution data for the resistive memory. A back end fabrication system(24) prevents data retention time of the constitution data in the resistive memory from being reduced by temperatures in back end processing. The back end fabrication system includes a cooling system cooling the resistive memory before the back end processing. The back end fabrication system includes a cooled device contacting with the resistive memory during the back end processing.
