An automatic tool changer of a machining center is provided to prevent interference with an automatic tool changer when a workpiece is lifted on a jig or lifted down from the jig. An automatic tool changer of a machining center comprises a frame(20) installed at the front side of a machining center(10) in the form of substantially reverse-U shape. The machining center includes a body(11), a base(15), an index table(12), a spindle(13) and a multi-axis spindle(14). A transfer section(30) is installed at an upper end of the frame to move a magazine through a cylinder(31) in the horizontal direction. The magazine is installed through a connection member(41) such that the magazine is perpendicular to the transfer section. The magazine is formed with tool receiving grooves continuously formed. If the multi-axis spindle is lifted up to the magazine, the magazine moves in the horizontal direction.
