Stemmer with a continuous-blade threshing cylinder

The stemmer has a beater or a destemmer shaft (3) rotatably mounted in a perforated cylindrical cage. The beater/shaft has radial units mounted on a carrier shaft (3') and constituting a helical formation (4) extending along the shaft (3'). The cage and the shaft (3) are installed in a case, where the case has a unit supplying materials to be destemmed and another unit evacuating components separated by destemming treatment. The helical formation has a rigid support part (7), and a longitudinal free edge zone (5) formed by a continuous band (6) made of flexible material.
