The invention relates to a trolley (C) comprising a frame (10) which is supported by support feet (B2) which are pivot mounted to a joint (13b) and at least one strut (15b) having ends which are pivot mounted to an associated support foot (B2) and to a plate (16b) which is disposed on the frame (10). The invention also comprises control means for adjusting the distance between the joint (13b) and the plate (16b) and for retracting the support feet when the trolley (C) is being loaded into an ambulance. The joint (13b) is fixed in relation to the frame, while the plate (16b) can slide. In addition, adjustable-length connecting means are provided between the joint (13b) and the plate (16b) and comprise a first element (17b) which is solidly connected to the joint, an intermediary element (19b) which can slide in relation to the first element and a third element (23b) which is fixed to the plate (16b) and which can slide in relation to the intermediary element. Moreover, a first locking/release means (22b) is provided between the first element (17b) and the intermediary element (19b) in order to adjust the height and a second locking/release means (24b, 25b) is provided between the intermediary element (19b) and the third element (23b) in order to retract the support feet for loading. |
