<p>The method involves producing a signal to trigger a cleaning cycle, when the measurement of the condition of particle filter (20), catalyst soot filter (22) and nitrous oxide absorbent catalyst (24) states that the filters and catalyst must be cleaned. The operation of an engine and a vehicle is monitored, and a motor rotary speed/vehicle acceleration-operation-signal is produced. The operation signal and triggering signal are received, and the setting of engine control parameter is triggered for changing the operation of the engine, such that passive regeneration of the filters is performed. An independent claim is also included for a system for passive regeneration of particle filter, catalyst soot filter and nitrous oxide absorbent catalyst for a vehicle.</p> |
