An apparatus and a method for drying glass panels of flat panel displays are provided to simultaneously dry a plurality of glass panels, prevent glass panels from being damaged during a dry process and reduce a time required to dry a glass panel. An apparatus for drying glass panels of flat panel displays includes a drying room(210), a cassette(220), and an air knife. The drying room includes a conveying roller(211) and a guide roller(212). The cassette is conveyed into the drying room according to the conveying roller and the guide roller and receives a plurality of glass panels in such a manner that the glass panels are vertically arranged. The air knife is located between neighboring glass panels received in the cassette. |
