FIELD: technological processes. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the area of uninterruptedly-casted preforms production. Defects (cross cracks, sliver, etc.) are rolled by heating surface layers of uninterruptedly-casted preforms up to temperatures that are higher than Curie point (768°C) in inducer of high frequency currents and by rolling them in forming rolls with reduction of 1.5-3% along cold hard core. ^ EFFECT: increases efficiency of defects elimination in uninterruptedly-casted preforms. ^ 1 ex |
