A data transceiving device of an electronic picture frame and a method are provided to automatically transceive data at nighttime when communication charges are relatively cheap, by using a modem of a mobile phone without using a wired LAN(Local Area Network) or a wireless LAN, thereby offering expense cut-down effect to a user. A contents server(400) provides contents. A wired/wireless network(300) provides a communication service for transceiving the provided contents. A mobile phone(500) is accessible to the contents server(400) through the wired/wireless network(300). An electronic picture frame(600) transceives data with the contents server(400) by using a modem of the mobile phone(500). A cradle(502) has a wired/wireless communication module, and performs a charging or supporting role of the mobile phone(500). |
