FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: pelvic distortion in degrees is measured: in frontal plane by marked points, which correspond to spina iliaca posterior superior, in the initial standing static position; and the functional pelvic distortion in two positions is measured: in standing by turn on the left and the right foot, in flexion of the contralateral leg in hip andknee joints at the right angle. Then, the Delta-delta is calculated by formulas: Deltas=S-M for the left leg, Deltad=M-D for the right leg, where M is the pelvic distortion in the initial position, S and D are the functional pelvic distortion when standing on the left and the right foot, correspondingly. Normally, the Deltas and Deltad have positive value from 2° and more, and the difference between Deltas and Deltad doesn't exceed 2°. In both side abnormalities, the Deltas and Deltad have negative value. In one side abnormality, one of Deltas or Deltad has negative value or the difference between Deltas and Deltad exceeds 2°, regardless of Delta-delta's character. ^ EFFECT: method enables functional diagnostics and detection of hidden dysfunction of pelvic joint. ^ 12 dwg, 5 ex |
