FIELD: mining. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method and a device for determining the shape of hydraulic fracture cracks in rocks. To this end said method and said device provide for injecting a fluid into one or more wells under a pressure, which allows said fluid to create cracks and to penetrate through them into rock surrounding the wells, whereby electric and magnetic fields are established and then measured inside the well.
