A coupled torsion beam type suspension equipped with a characteristic variation device is provided to control kinetic and tread characteristics according to the kind of a vehicle by adjusting the thickness of the characteristic variation device positioned between a torsion beam axle and a trailing arm. A coupled torsion beam type suspension includes a shock absorber, a torsion beam axle(1), a trailing arm(2), a characteristic variation member(4). The shock absorber buffers an external force generated from a road surface. The torsion beam axle is coupled wheels(W) provided at two opposite sides of a vehicle. The trailing arm is coupled to a support bracket(3) and vertically coupled to two opposite sides of the axle. The characteristic variation member adjusts tread and kinetic characteristics according to a kind of the vehicle. |
