摘要 A design method of embankment loading using genetic algorithm is provided to set up an embankment loading/removal process suitable to design conditions by estimating design properties of the soft ground with back analysis upon genetic algorithm from settlement data measured at the early stage of embankment loading, and to apply to the multilayered soft ground. A design method of embankment loading using genetic algorithm comprises the steps of: making an initial group representing as an association of design factors related to the settlement of the soft ground on the basis of settlement data at the early stage of embankment loading(S11); after selecting an individual from the initial group and crossbreeding, making mutation and searching the optimum association of design factors(S13); making an initial group representing as an association of design factors related to the embankment loading design on the basis of the settlement data at the early stage of embankment loading(S21); and applying each individual of the initial group to an analytic program for the consolidation settlement of the soft ground using a design variable related to the settlement as an input variable, and checking whether to satisfy design conditions or not(S22).
