摘要 A method and an apparatus for controlling a GPS antenna are provided to improve a signal reception accuracy by adjusting a direction of the GPS antenna, when a GPS signal from a specific direction is interfered. A GPS(Global Positioning System) antenna(10) receives current coordinate signals and delay time signals from satellites. A baseband processor(60) divides the satellites into at least one satellite group and calculates GDOP(Geometric Dilution Of Precision) values for the respective satellite groups by using the coordinate signals and the delay time signals. A CPU(Central Processing Unit)(70) compares the GDOP values for the respective satellite groups with predetermined reception sensitivity reference values and determines a satellite group with an acceptable reception sensitivity. The CPU determines a compensation direction value of the GPS antenna with respect to the satellite group with the acceptable reception sensitivity. An antenna direction adjuster(20) receives the compensation direction value of the GPS antenna and compensates a reception direction of the GPS antenna.
