FIELD: machine building. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment for length sawing of round timber. The machine contains a fixed frame with a movable sawing unit arranged thereon, a device to fix logs made up of two stocks with clamping stops and a fixing mechanism made up of slotted disks and locks arranged nearby log end faces, one stock being furnished with the log rotation drive. The aforesaid disks with the fixation mechanism slots and clamping stops represent an integral structure wherein the clamping stop is attached to the disk, the stock furnished with a log rotation drive being provided with a vertical and horizontal motion drive. ^ EFFECT: higher efficiency and accuracy of sawing. ^ 1 dwg
