AUTO FOCUS METHOD OF CAMERA MODULE

An auto focus method of a camera module is provided to recognize/compensate for the center position of an EIAJ chart photographed by the camera module automatically and to measure a focus by automatic pattern decomposition for measuring rotation degrees of an image sensor automatically and measuring the focus of the camera module rapidly. An automatic focus measurement program is installed and executed in a computer. A camera module is placed on an EIAJ(Electronic Industries Association of Japan) chart, and images of the EIAJ chart are input to an image sensor of the camera module. The EIAJ chart images are displayed on the monitor of the computer, and the center line of X and Y axes and a pattern scan box are displayed on the EIAJ chart images. The pattern scan box is conformed to the pattern around the center line. The patterns in the pattern scan box are scanned at points of different resolutions respectively. The pattern decomposition degrees are displayed on the monitor in graphs. TVB(TV bone) in the pattern scan box is outputted to one side of the pattern scan box and a decomposition limit point is displayed.
