A sheet supplying apparatus and a stacker bundler having the same are provided to prevent an error at a sheet transmitting process by forcibly inserting a sheet between a roller of a height detecting unit and a carrying belt. A sheet supplying apparatus includes baskets(11,12) and a pickup unit(13). The baskets stack sheets(9,10). The pickup unit transports the sheets from the baskets and guides the sheets to a carrying belt(8) adjacent to the baskets. A roller(27) is installed at a lower end of the pickup unit. The pickup unit has a height detecting unit(14), an absorbing plate(15), and a pressure member(16). The height detecting unit detects a position of an upper surface of the sheet of the basket. The absorbing plate absorbs the top sheet of the basket on the basis of a signal detected at the height detecting unit. The pressure member pressurizes the roller.
